Its name derives from the Greek d??at??, meaning “tenth”—a number rich with meaning. The tenth year marks the culmination of its journey: the moment of dégorgement, when the wine reaches its fullest expression. Dèkatos captures the spirit and elegance of Trentino, a land whose natural vocation for great Classic Method wines has helped shape some of the most distinguished chapters in Italian winemaking. Bright golden yellow with luminous reflections, and a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is deep and complex, opening with refined notes of toasted brioche, almond, and hazelnut. Layers of candied citrus, dried apple, and honey unfold, interwoven with delicate hints of flint and alpine herbs. On the palate, it is precise and structured, carried by vibrant acidity and a creamy, elegant mousse. Flavours of ripe orchard fruit and citrus zest are balanced by a pronounced mineral backbone and subtle savoury nuances. The finish is long, harmonious, and complete—an authentic expression of time, place, and craftsmanship.
