Barolo D.O.C.G. 75cl (2021) ROCCHE DEI MANZONI

Producing some of the highest-rated Barolo over the last 40-50 years, Rocche dei Manzoni holds an important place on wine lists in some of the world's top restaurants. This wine is produced from increasingly organic/biodynamic 100% Nebbiolo da Barolo (found in only eleven communes that comprise the Barolo DOCG) grown Rocche Dei Manzoni's vineyards located in Monforte d'Alba, whose grapes go through 2 rounds of quality selection in order to achieve the best blend of the vineyards. Aged for 36 months in small oak barrels, refined six months in egg-shaped unglazed cement vats, plus a further six months in the bottle. Deep ruby red in colour with a rich, persistent bouquet, with hints of violet. This is a big wine that will stand out on any table and that will only get better with age - recommended to decant at least 2 hours before serving. You can expect this wine to last at least 25-30 years if stored correctly.
