L’Albereta Vernaccia Di San Gimignano D.O.C.G. Riserva 75cl (2022) COLOMBAIO DI SANTA CHIARA

The secret of the excellence of the vines at Colombaio di Santa Chiara, found in the San Gimignano region, is correct treatment of the land without the use of pesticides, constant checks on the fruit, and careful selection during the manual harvesting of the grapes. Vintages are only made from fully ripened grapes, which go through a secondary inspection before maceration. The Albereta is matured in barriques for about 8 months, and the result is a wine of golden yellow colour, and with a complex yet elegant bouquet with light vanilla hints. The palate is sapid, well-structured, and persistent with a well-balanced acidity. This wine pairs beautifully with appetisers, fish and shellfish, delicate red meat and medium matured cheeses.
