Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes, known locally as Chiavennasca, this Valtellina Superiore DOCG is aged for a minimum of 24 months of which at least 12 is in oak barrels followed by steel & concrete refinement.
The result is a wine of bright ruby red colour that tends to garnet with age. Fruity aroma with hints of raspberry and light violets. Harmonious, sapid, persistent and elegant on the palate.
This wine has a minimum aging potential of 6-7 years.
