Duelame Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. Bio 75cl (2022) LAMOLE DI LAMOLE

It is the typical altitude and soil that inspired the name of Duelame Chianti Classico DOCG. Produced from vineyards planted with indigenous grapes lying at the estate’s two extremes of altitude, the lower at 420 meters and the higher one at 655, lying on 'lame' (literally meaning 'blades') of land, those stratified terraces rich in mineral substances to which Lamole owes its name and which make the landscape of Chianti Classico unique. During production the wine matures in oak casks of varying sizes for 18 months, plus a further refinement in-bottle prior to release. The result is a wine of bright ruby red colour, a floral bouquet along with scents of red berries and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is generous and fresh, with extremely fine tannins that integrate splendidly with the tangy and crisp fruit notes. The aromatic finish lingers beautifully. Stored correctly this wine will age well for 5-6 years after release.
