Bessìu Nasco di Cagliari DOC is made from 100% Nasco grapes grown in the “Su Stani” estate in Serdiana, where 15-year-old vines flourish in clay-limestone soils under Sardinia’s sunny, breezy climate. Hand-harvested in mid to late September, the grapes undergo soft pressing, natural cold decanting, and a slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the wine’s purity. Aged for 8 months on fine lees, the result is a straw yellow wine with greenish highlights, offering a fragrant nose full of Mediterranean nuances. The palate is enveloping and persistent, with great balance and elegance. Ideal with seafood starters, Mediterranean cuisine, delicate white meats, and aged cheeses.
