A project, made up of 5 Amarone wines that come from 5 distinct areas of Valpolicella Classico, aimed at the passionate and demanding consumer who wants to look beyond mere Amarone; one who doesn’t just see it as a “style of wine” but as a “wine of style”, where key strengths of the region take centre stage and the grape grower can interpret the unique character of each Amarone: CASTELROTTO from San Pietro in Cariano (16.5% - intense compact garnet red, complex and ethereal aroma, graceful and fine, full-bodied balanced by velvety tannins), VILLA from Negrar (17% - intense garnet red, pronounced notes of cherries and black pepper, fresh and vibrant style of Amarone), SAN ROCCO from Marano Valpolicella (16% - intense garnet red, strong and persistent, with delicate spicy hints of clove, pronounced mineral character, firm backbone and personality), MAZZUREGA from Fumane (17% - intense garnet red, significant day-night temperature variations contribute to a complex bouquet with evident notes of tobacco and leather, notes of black spice highlight the full body and tannin structure, which give this rich wine its longevity), and MONTE from Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella (16.5% - intense garnet red, expressive and persistent, with hints of sweet red jam, full-bodied, intriguing yet smooth).
