‘Terrae Toscanae’ Valdichiana Toscana D.O.C. 75cl (2025) VINI TIPICI DELL’ARETINO

The Cantina dei Vini Tipici dell'Aretino is historically renowned for its importance in winegrowing, with references emerging in the texts of the Bishop of Arezzo where he spoke of "canonical churches with large lands of planted vines". The ancient wine-making traditions have been enriched and enhanced over the years with the D.O.P. Valdichiana Toscana denomination, on hills and valley in the Province of Arezzo. With brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish hints, this wine has a fresh, fine, pleasantly fruity nose. Taste is neutral, clean, fruity, and slightly acidulous; overall, it is a pleasant wine which could also show a slight aftertaste of bitter almonds. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with starters, soups, stews, cooked vegetables, fresh cheese, and fish.
