Monteolivo Moscato D’Asti D.O.C.G. 37.5cl (2024) BERSANO

Much appreciated by the ancient Romans for its sweet and aromatic flavour, Muscatellum has a long-standing tradition in representing the lands of Asti. This wine shows a straw-yellow colour with light golden reflections. Its bouquet is intense and fragrant, typical of the Moscato grape, with notes of peach, sage, and lemon layered over floral hints of acacia blossom. On the palate, it is sweet and full-flavoured, with a finely balanced finish—elegant, refreshingly crisp, and pleasantly sparkling. An ideal dessert wine, it pairs beautifully with traditional Italian sweets such as panettone, pandoro, colomba, biscuits, tarts, pastries, baked cakes, panna cotta, custard, and torrone. It is also excellent with fresh or syrup-preserved fruit. For an unexpected and delightful contrast, try it with cured meats or aged, spicy cheeses.
