From the sun-soaked granite terroir of Gallura at elevations of 300–450 m, this DOCG white delivers a bright straw-yellow colour with green reflections. On the nose: apple, acacia flowers, quince, jasmine and citrus. The palate is dry, elegantly savoury, with lively salinity, citrus fruit, herbs and mineral flint. It is aged only in stainless steel to preserve freshness, with no malolactic fermentation. Cantina del Vermentino Monti began in 1956 with just 22 growers and now spans 500 ha across Monti, Telti, Olbia, and Loiri-Porto San Paolo, with over 350 grower members united under winemaker Alberto Raccanelli.
